The mark for the course is derived from
External Assessment - 80%
All tests will be comprised of Paper 1 and Paper 2 style questions under the unit's topic. Students will be given a raw score and a converted IB score. At report card time, the IB grade that best suits the student's performance will be awarded.
Internal Assessment - 20%
The Internal Assessment (I.A.) is a math report where the student gathers, organizes, analyzes, concludes, and then validates a set of data that he/she either generates or researches. Data can be obtained through the use of surveys, experiments, or internet research.
