Lesson Personal Logo Development
Things to Consider
- Consider what your logo is going to
be used for and who will be reading it.
- Your logo will be put on drawings,
sketches, and perhaps etched in metal.
- The logo could be used on an
8.5*11 sheet of paper (or even larger), or may be made
smaller than 10 mm.
- Your Logo should be tasteful,
suitable to represent your schoolwork.
- black and white is the most
appropriate for anything which needs to be photocopied or
otherwise put on many different media. If you use colour or
even grayscale you may restrict the media that your logo can
be used on.
- You may consider a grayscale or
colour logo which has a black and white version or could
be adequately presented in black and white.
- Types of logos to consider - You may
use any of the types from the lesson.
- What mood, image, or message would
you like to convey.
- Consider researching existing, past
or associated logos images or icons.
- Issues
- Authenticity of ideas.
- To what extent can you search for
and use images on the Internet?
- At least 4 of the sketches or
ideas you hand in must completely original.
- You may radically modify and
integrate existing images into your design
