GMAX Marking Scheme

GMAX will be marked in three sections: Knowledge (for the tutorials), Application (for meeting the requirements of the assignment), and Communication (for the Aesthetic Quality of the movie)

Knowledge Mark out of 4, 2 marks per tutorial.

Application - requirements:

change the number of frames (at least 50)
change the fps (frames per second)
translation animation
rotation animation
scale animation
use of cameras
use of lights
use of groups
creation of compound primitive objects (object made up of more than one simple object - sphere, cylinder, etc.)
creation of complex objects using meshtools (object created by manipulating any number of vertices or other meshtools)
use of shape effects from the modifier list (noise, taper, twist, etc.)
