1. Always wear eye protection in the model shop.
2. Report all accidents - no matter how minor.
3. No loose clothing in the model shop. Tie back all long hair, remove jewellery and watches when working with machines.
4. Never work alone in a room.
5. Do not run. Watch where you are going. No horseplay. Always have good footing. Be aware of location of electrical extension cords.
6. Do not power up electric circuits in the model shop.
7. Know where safety equipment is.
8. Take your time, nothing is so important that it cannot be done slowly and safely.
9. Do not use any equipment for which you have not been trained and authorized to use. If you do not know or are unsure, ask.
10. Always maintain a clean and tidy working environment. Notify others of any hazards you may cause.
11. Do not plug in any electrical connection (power connection or computer connections) without authorization from your instructor.
12. Electronic devices such as "Walkmans", "Diskmans ", "MP3 Players"and cellular communication devises can be distracting, cause issue between students and may create hazards. They are not permitted to be in the class at any time.
