The answers explore the issues. Most points are justified; most arguments are coherent. Some counter claims may be considered.

7-8

The answers explore with some insight, in some depth and/or detail. All or nearly all the main points are justified and the arguments are coherent.  Counter claims are considered for some questions.

9-10

The answers explore with a high degree of insight, in considerable depth and/or detail. All main points are justified and arguments are coherent and compelling. Counter claims are considered for most questions.
