The essay cover page must be done a certain way.
Follow these easy steps to avoid it being handed back immediately.
1. About a third of the way down, write the essay question as it appears on the list of prescribed titles . Don't put anything else. Just the EXACT wording as it appears on the list of prescribed titles. No fancy headers like, 'ToK essay' or 'Question #3'. Just the EXACT wording as it appears on the list of prescribed titles.
2. Then, lower down, making it look nice, put: Your name, Your candidate number and Your date of expected IB completion, which in your case is MAY 2008.
3. That's it for the cover page. On the first page of your actual essay, put the EXACT wording of the question as it appears on the list of prescribed titles again. I know it is redundant, just do it. That way if it is any good, IB can tear off the cover and copy it and use it as a sample for incipient teachers in theory of knowledge school. (This last item is just speculation on my part.)
