Blogs will presented monthly along with presentation of 1
new journalism site/link
Personal Website - will include:
Each piece of work (written,photo, podcast, broadcast etc)
including Source Outline (Proposal Sheet) for each piece,
links – personal collection of links to useful journalistic
sites – contacts, info, tips, etc.,
notes page – Collection of notes and documents and course
material.
ColbyChronicle- Students will rotate through each of the mediums
of journalism creating a piece for each months edition.
1-blog/podcast
2-article/photojournalism
3-broadcast (in pairs)
Rotate for each edition – 9 editions Oct 15th - June
15th
Alternate school and local, national, international
CougarVision– broadcast piece and podcast piece must
be formatted to include “mini preview” on CougarVision
with promo to full version on ColbyChronicle Online site
Virtual Classroom Initiative– students will take lead
role in all aspects of a minimum of 5 videoconference sessions
(can be used as basis for monthly piece)
