Assessment is required in four categories; Knowledge and Understanding, Thinking and Inquiry, Application and Communication. Where practicable the marking system (rubric) will delineate the category being marked. Often several categories may be implicitly represented in an assignment but not specifically and separately identified in the marking scheme. Whether specifically specified or implicitly represented in the assignment assessment scheme, the aggregate final mark for Technological Courses will be comprised of the following breakdown;
