Logo Portfolio Checklist
- The following should be included in your
logo design portfolio;
- this checklist
- yin yang assignment
- at least 3 ideas delineated by
hand sketches (and possibly notes). These must be distinct
ideas and should include a phonetic and abstract idea.
- one logo which was created by
cutting and gluing paper or card. This should be a pictogram
type.
- at least one logo printed out
which was created in a pixel based program. - suggested
Adobe Photoshop Elements. At least one should be a symbolic
type.
- at least one logo printed out
which was developed in a vector based program. -
Vectorworks. At least one should be a phonetic - abstract
type.
- logo printed out which was scanned
from a hand drawn image
- the final logo printed out in the
title block of a Vectorworks drawing template.
- A short word processed explanation
of your logo. (several sentences)
- the final logo printed and pasted
on the outside of the portfolio folder or
envelope.
- a completed application for a
registered trademark for the final logo.
- the folder should contain evidence of idea development
(improvement, integration of ideas etc.), and evidence of
developing different ideas and choosing the best one.
