- lesson
- pallets - 2-D tools, constraints, attributes
- commands - move, duplicate array
- naming and saving - as a template, naming conventions
- layers
- instructions
- Open your template for which you added your logo in the
title block. (or
if you have not created a logo open the generic
template)
- Go to the layers set up and you will see there are two
layers in this template.
- change the name of the 'drawing' layer to
'construction'
- add a new layer and call it 'building'
- make the scale of both 'construction' and 'building'
layers to 1:100 (leave the title block&border layer at
1:1)
- exit the layers set up
- under page menu, select set grid..., set snap grid to 100
and reference grid to 1200 mm
- save your drawing as 'yournamegarage28se', in your central
server (except use the first few letters ofyour name and the
current day and month). The program will add a .mcd extension
onto the file name. The next time you work on the file, say on
Oct 3, save the file as 'yournamegarage03oc' and so on such
that you have a record of prograssion on the drawing and you
can be protected from drawing corruption problems.
