The following will provide examples of how to reference documents in your bibliography. Each reference is referred to by number in the body of your report.
Referencing a Text Book - List the authors as shown, then the title of the book (underlined), the location where the book was published, the publisher, the date, and if applicable the pages referred to. Follow the punctuation as shown in this example.

Referencing a Magazine or Periodical - List the author(s), the name of the article (in quotation marks), the magazine (underlined) ,the date, and the page(s)
2. McComb, Gordon. "Collision Avoidance and Detection: Part 2." Poptronics, Jan 2001, p. 51.
Referencing a Newspaper Article - List the author, the title of the article (in quotation marks), the newspaper name (underlined), the date and the pages
3. Mertl, Steve. "Fuel Cell Go-kart Unveiled." The Ottawa Citizen, 23 February 2001, p. D2
Referencing the Internet - list the type of Internet connection (website , FTP etc.), a title (or a descriptive statement if no title exists), the author if known, the url, and the date.
