Drawing the Foundation in 3-Space

• 2 Methods
  • Method 1 - Example - Footings
    • draw 2 rectangles in 2-space representing the exterior dimensions and interior dimensions of the footings.
    • clip surface and delete the interior rectangle
    • extrude the thickness of the footing
    • 3-D Move in the z direction or go into an elevation view in 3-space and move in the y direction in 2-D move
  • Method 2 - Example - Foundation Walls
    • make the wall using the wall tool
    • with wall selected, enable object info pallet and edit the z and delta z data
