Determination of Foundation Size

• Size of Footing
  • For height of footing use 100 mm (4") or the with of the overhang (length from the foundation wall to the edge of the footing), whichever is greater. Never make footings less thatn 100mm (4") thick and it may be a good idea to go a bit thicker than the minimum.
