C2BX Robot
Drawing Package and BOM
History:
- C1BX is based on a design from the book Insectronics by Karl
Williams, ISBN 0-07-141241-7.
- C2B0 was built as a class project in the school year
2003/2004
C1B0
- C2B1 to C2B9 were built as small group projects in school year
2004/2005. A BOM and partial drawing package were created in that
year. A front gripper was built to test. A controller circuit was
created and was tested. Some controller deficiencies were
resolved.

Status: As of end of year 2004/2005 the following requirement have
been identified.
- assembly drawings created
- redesign middle servo leg since if is not strong enough to
easily lift the hexapod
- inspect and fix some hexapods
- test and redesign the front hand
- correct remaining deficiencies in controller circuit board and
develop an effective method to mount it on the hexapod.
- develop a better method to mount the batteries on the
hexapod.
the design appears unstable front to back when walking and tips
especially when carrying a front load
- C2aBX is beign designed and built by the class of 2005-2006.
It is a modification of the C2BX to improve some of the
deficiencies as listed below
