Expectations

1. Be on time.

2. Bring all books and materials to class.

3. Follow directions the first time they are given.

4. RESPECT others.

 

ABSENCES:

- Students must make every effort to attend class.

- If you know that you will be away (appointement or sports event), speak with me before the absence to find out what you will miss.

- If you are away unexpectedly (e.g. illness), you should attempt to find out what you are missing while you are away. If this is not possible, you should obtain class notes and related information as soon as your return to school.

- You must provide a note from your parents/guardians to me explaining your absence.

- Missing a class in order to work on schoolwork for this class or any other class is NOT considered a legitimate absense and will be dealt with as a skipped class.

 

MISSED EVALUATIONS:

- Students who miss a test for a legitimate reason will write a replacement test when they return to school.

- Missed quizzes and assignments will be written at my discretion.

- All missed lab activities must be completed in order to fulfill the IB requirements of the course.

- Any skipped evaluation (test, quiz, in-class assignment, presentation etc.) will be given a mark of zero. This mark will not be dropped or replaced.
